Rex, an anthropomorphic fox, voyages on a journey to escape from the facility after changing his mind about the experiment that he signed up  in exchange for the money.  The implant , that used as an extension that connects to the brain and spinal cord to help PTSD patients to cope by replaying the memories as a projection that patients can interact with, making it appear real.  While being in trial, the device malfunctions,  making Rex facing the horrors of his past, feeling like he's running in circles, stuck in time,  while embarks on his way to his grand escape.
